These are various other characters who do not
live in the company complex but do play a part in the story.
MARIKO TAKATUO
AGE: 23
RELEVANCE: Mariko has served in the Tachibana household as their maid since
she was a young girl. She has known Ryoki since he was in elementary school, which explains their closeness. She might be
one of the few people that really understands him. She acts more like a mother than his own mother. Even though Hatsumi is
jealous of Ryoki and Mariko's closeness, Mariko often helps Hatsumi and Ryoki understand each other.
LOVE LIFE: She is in love with Shuichiro Tachibana, which also explains her
loyalty to the family.
